Lester and Linda L'Hoste's citrus groves were miraculously spared the full wrath of hurricane Katrina. Even with the eye passing directly overhead, their trees, home and packing shed were spared, although there was total destruction for miles around them. As a result, they are one of the very few Louisiana citrus groves back in production! In addition, they are CERTIFIED ORGANIC. They are family farmers that pick by hand, select, pack box and ship directly from their grove to you. Each order contains 12-15 BIG oranges. A few kumquats will be added when available.
